This project entailed creating a brand for a banana-centric café, taking inspiration from a banana milk cake I made for my sisters’ 21st celebration. The design language utilized the aesthetic of a rubber horse animation, referencing numerous adults' nostalgic memories of consuming banana milk. The artistry and typography are inspired back to retro aesthetics, effectively reflecting nostalgic elements across the brand materials. The sentiments that guided the conception of this project were predominantly vintage appeal.

A significant part of the drawings incorporated a halftone effect. By deploying the halftone, I successfully alluded to and incorporated classic media formats. My illustrations focused on bananas, milk, and naturally, the quintessential banana milk package. The initial drawings were made and outlined on Procreate, later transported to Adobe Illustrator. It was in Illustrator where the drawings were vectorized and given the halftone finish. This step, too, was crucial to creating these Illustrations.
